I Love Sleep

And I love it even more when I get an extra hour, thank you Daylight Savings Time!

This has been a good weekend, except for last night. I was supposed to go to GI since Silas was having a Halloween party but without money to put gas in your car to make it to GI, it becomes a problem. I was very sad indeed. Friday night, however, was a lot of fun. Brett's birthday was last Tuesday so we went out to celebrate it with Jason and Santiago, and Bryan showed up a little later. We hit Voda and Iggy's (ew), then Sandy's, then The Spigot. I love The Spigot. Then we went back to Brett's apartment for a while, and I swear Evan had not moved an inch from the time we left til the time we got back. He probably did, since we were gone for four hours, but it didn't look like it. Anyway, Brett is much more cuddly when he's drunk, so maybe he should be drunk more often. We watched some tv and some Scrubs, then he somehow hurt his foot when he bumped into the chair. I have no idea how it happened, I was under a blanket kind of half asleep. Evan and I watched part of Alien but I kept falling asleep because I was bored.

Yesterday in itself was fairly uneventful. Woke up at the apartment, talked to Brett for a while, also while watching some football. Then he left to find a Halloween costume and watch the 'Skers game at Bryan's and I feel back asleep, only to wake up after our game had started with Tequila asleep on my stomach. Very adorable, I adore that cat even though she's kind of a spaz. A lot. Evan finally emerged from his room and apparently Husker football is not very important to him, because he almost immediately took the remote. Yeah yeah, I understand the whole thing about it being his apartment and his tv and his remote, but HELLO, Husker Football! Well, we ended up watching Scrubs, though I did request we at least check the score between each episode, which he did.

So, by the time I actually got home last night it was 6:45 and my 'Skers lost. LOST! How did that even HAPPEN?! Evan was amused, I was not. Stupid Cowboys and their stupid win. It wasn't even close. We had it, we lost it. That's ridiculous. Just effing ridiculous. Ugh.

Apparently I was severely lacking sleep recently (gee, could it be I go to sleep at 5 or 6 am a lot?) because I fell asleep on my futon watching television around 8, woke up around 9, fell back asleep, woke up at 2:30, finally moved to my room, and woke up at 8 to a text from Kayleen. It was glorious. I feel a lot better than I have in the last week, sleep was definitely what I needed last night.

There is no school this week for LPS which is good and bad. It's good because woohoo, time off, but bad because I need the $$$. I have plenty of jobs but when it comes to subbing more is always better I think.

That's all for now, I am going to cut this short cuz Britty is on MSN just now and I'd rather talk to her than blog.

Yeah, I am just getting to sleep now. I have got to stop this being awake until all hours of the night thing. It's a tough life though, when your friends have On Demand and you can pretty much watch whatever you want, whenever you want. Not to mention that between Brett and Evan, that apartment holds the most massive DVD collection ever.
